Are you looking for something a little different to do? Are you curious about nature and wildlife? Do you perhaps have some family or friends visiting and you feel like an adventurous day out? If yes, we suggest a Kruger Park safari! If you already live in the area, we have a variety of activities and tours on offer. If you or your guests are coming from other parts of the country and arriving at the O. R. Tambo International Airport, our shuttle can fetch you from the airport and return you once your safari adventure is over. Our shuttles to and from the airport run on a daily basis, so all you have to do is book your seats ahead of time and arrive at the collection point. We will take care of the rest.
Our Kruger Park safari experience is only one of the many exciting tours and activities we conduct at Kruger Park Shuttles. You can choose from any of the below offerings, or even do all of them! We have modern and comfortable vehicles that are well maintained and air conditioned, and our drivers are familiar with the routes to take to maximise your game-viewing pleasure.
Kruger Park Safari Game Drive
Most people see more wildlife in the Kruger National Park if they don’t have to drive themselves, because they don’t have to focus on the road. Our full-day Kruger Park safari will collect you at Hoedspruit in the early morning. We will then make our way to the Kruger National Park for a full day of exciting game viewing. The Kruger National Park is famous for many reasons. For example, it is one of the biggest game reserves in the world and it contains the Big 5. Some lucky visitors even have the rare opportunity to encounter all five animals in one day! While driving around the reserve, we take regular rest stops and a lunch break at the modern and tranquil rest camps in the reserve. Here you can get some refreshments, stretch your legs, and enjoy some great food at one of the restaurants. The atmosphere in these camps is relaxing and easy, and you will soon be ready to get back on the road again to enjoy your adventure!
Other Attractions in the Area
Once you have completed your Kruger Park safari, there are also other attractions in the area that are worth a visit. We do regular tours to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, where you can get an up-close look at a variety of animals. This centre was originally intended for a cheetah breeding programme, but since then, it has become the home of other endangered animals and breeding programmes that help to preserve species.
We also offer regular tours to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre near Hoedspruit. Visitors are allowed to interact with certain animals at this centre. This facility mainly focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating injured or poisoned wild animals. In certain cases, it is impossible to release these animals back into the wild because they simply will not survive without assistance, which is when they then become permanent residents at this centre. They are then chosen to act as ambassadors for their species, and humans are often provided with the unique opportunity to interact directly with some of them.
