Are you planning a trip to the Kruger National Park, but not keen on renting a vehicle and driving yourself? If this is the case, our guided safaris are exactly what you need. Often, when guests choose to rent a vehicle, they are not as aware of the animals around them because they have to focus on the road.
Our guided Kruger Park safaris are specifically created to provide our guests with unmissable sights and experiences. The guides are well trained and know a great deal about the Kruger National Park, including the fauna and flora in the area. All our guests have to do is sit back and relax. Our vehicles are comfortable, modern, and well maintained, and we offer regular refreshment breaks to ensure that everyone is comfortable on the trip.
We have a few guided safaris in and around the Kruger Park and Hoedspruit. These include the following wonderful adventures:
Kruger National Park day drive: For those who would like to see as much of the Kruger National Park as possible, our full-day drives are highly recommended. The trip starts early in the morning in Hoedspruit (in close vicinity to the Kruger Park gates) and then heads into the game reserve for a whole day to see as many animals as possible. It isn’t unusual to encounter all the Big 5 animals in one day, because the animal population here is quite large, and our guides usually have the best knowledge about the animal movements and locations. This gives our guests a much better chance of encountering more game on the drive than if they chose to self-drive. We stop at some of the rest camps for breaks.
Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre: This is a rehabilitation facility for injured animals. The objective is always to restore injured and young animals back to health and to rehabilitate them in order to release them back into the wild. Sadly, however, some animals are too badly injured and they are unable to fend for themselves in the wild. As a result, they become permanent guests at this facility and become ambassadors for their breeds. Here, our guests can encounter a wide range of African wildlife and even interact with some of the friendlier residents. Children love these interactions and learn a lot about the animals at this wonderful facility. Because the facility is mainly funded by visitors and looked after by volunteers, a visit to this establishment will not only benefit you, but the animals as well! The trip is around two hours long and we provide two of these safaris per day.
The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre: If you prefer a more intimate encounter with African wildlife, a visit to this centre is something you simply cannot miss. Our guided Kruger Park safaris include a visit to this highly specialised establishment. It was originally built as a cheetah conservation facility, but has since grown to include other types of endangered species too. This guided safari takes two hours and provides visitors with the perfect opportunity to learn more about the local endangered species, why they are endangered, and what is being done to protect them.
Our guided Kruger Park safaris do not only provide adventurers with the ideal opportunities to learn more about the Kruger National Park, but also to gain valuable knowledge about the animals in the reserve. Our Kruger Park safaris are affordable and comfortable, and are recommended by our guests. Book your safari with Kruger Park Shuttles today.
